The idea underlying the Untitled paintings is to establish a relationship between different elements by placing the painting on a wooden structure on a human scale. These elements are: fragments of oil paint hand-sewn on rice paper, the empty space inside the structure, the crocheted fabric, the wall, and the surrounding space.
