In the series Sobre el amor (About Love), the starting point was the internal recording of the sound/rhythm of my heart. I digitally manipulated my electrocardiogram to create a “writing”, which I combined — in works on metal and paper — with texts from various sources dealing with love. The intention was to comment on love as a universal feeling and as the energy that sustains life.

“Now those arteries of the heart consist of a brown substance, of a white, blue, yellow, and red substance, and so is the sun brown, white, blue, yellow, and red.”
